Role Responsibilities
As the covering anesthesiologist, you will perform pre-operative assessments and anesthesia planning; administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care across surgical and obstetric cases; direct the anesthesia care team, including CRNAs, where applicable; manage intra-operative and post-operative pain control and hemodynamic stability; and maintain accurate documentation within the facility’s EMR system.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- MD or DO degree with completed residency in Anesthesiology
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active Washington State medical license, or eligibility to obtain one
- Current DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification
Preferred
- Prior locum tenens experience
- Experience directing an anesthesia care team model with CRNAs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a fast-paced OR environment
